We are working with a College in Sheffield who are in need of a Restaurant Trainer/Co-Ordinator in the Colleges on-site restaurant. This is a 6 month Maternity Cover Contract.
28 hours p/week (spread over 4 days)
6 month Maternity contract from August 2026
Up to £33,563 (dependant on experience/qualifications)
Responsibilities:
- Train & assess students in the classroom & silver plate restaurant
- Plan learning & carry out assessments in line with awarding body requirements
- Cash handling and ensuring that the financial returns are completed to meet deadlines
- Co-ordinate and prepare the restaurant for service sessions in line with customer experience
- Co-ordinating internal and external events to ensure smooth running of the restaurant
- Deputising for the catering operations manager when required
- Coaching the students on best restaurant practice and customer service experience
Requirements:
- NVQ Level 3 Qualification or Equivalent
- Experience of delivering Hospitality training
- Experience of assessing in an industry / classroom environment
- Level 2 English & Maths
- Assessor Award (Desirable)
