Morgan Hunt are working with a public sector organisation to recruit a senior software developer. The organisation are looking for an experienced developer with solid commercial experience of building web applications and REST APIs using Spring Boot in an OpenShift/AWS.
Strong Public Sector Experience is essential
Main Objectives of the role :
Deliver technical solutions that ensure:
* Upgrades to support compliance with accessibility standards
* Improve operational efficiency for administrative users of the services
* Improve the user experience and user interface
* Optimise the citizen interactions
* Ensure compliance with data protection legislation
* Effective support and maintenance of the system components
Essential Skills:
Significant commercial experience with the following technology:
* Java 17+
* Spring boot microservices
* Data modelling and SQL development, ideally PostgreSQL
* REST APIs
* AWS, AWS Lambda, S3, Typescript
* Modern DevOps and CI/CD practices including deployment pipelines
Details:-
6 month contract
Remote role (with very occasional office attendance, average 1 day every 6 months)
£420- £470 per day outside IR35
