We're currently recruiting for a SEND Teaching Assistant at a vibrant mainstream secondary school in the London Borough of Hounslow. This is a fantastic opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of young people.

Location: Mainstream secondary school, Hounslow

Start Date: ASAP

Salary: £100.00 per day

Responsibilities:

  • Providing in-class support to SEND students across a range of subjects
  • Assisting students during break times, lunch, trips, and extra-curricular activities
  • Using positive behaviour strategies to support student wellbeing
  • Collaborating with teachers, SENCO, and other professionals to achieve the best outcomes

What We're Looking For:

  • A positive attitude and a genuine passion for working with SEND students
  • Previous experience working with SEND or vulnerable individuals in education, healthcare, social care, or youth/community work
  • Strong emotional intelligence, empathy, and excellent communication skills
  • A desire to learn and grow - full training and CPD opportunities are provided
