An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Compliance Manager to lead statutory compliance and health & safety across a large housing portfolio. This is a temporary role for 3‑6 months. There is a requirement for a minimum of 3 days a week in the Selkirk office, with visits to tenants' homes on an ongoing basis.

Responsibilities

  • Managing compliance inspections and associated works
  • Leading and developing a compliance team
  • Overseeing contractor performance, procurement and budgets
  • Monitoring risk, compliance data and KPI reporting
  • Supporting health & safety, CDM and audit functions
  • Driving service improvement and customer satisfaction

Qualifications

  • Comprehensive knowledge of housing construction methods, repairs and best practice
  • Experience of working with risk management systems
  • Experience of developing technical specifications
  • Understanding of the role of the Scottish Housing Regulator
  • A relevant technical qualification (or equivalent experience) and a full UK driving licence are required.
