Morgan Hunt are working with a Housing Association to recruit a Coordinator for their supported housing service that supports young adults with ASD and ADHD to live independently. This is a temporary role, with the potential to become permanent for the successful candidate working 35 hours per week across a variety of shifts (including weekends). Shifts include an early, mid and late shift with 1 in 5 weekends.
The role
As a Coordinator, you will be integral in providing high-quality, personalised housing-related support to young adults facing various challenges, including ADHD, ASD, and substance misuse. This role involves collaborating within supported housing and outreach services in Greater Manchester, enabling clients to develop independent living skills and transition to permanent accommodation.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively within supported housing and outreach services.
- Assist clients in developing independent living skills and accessing work or education.
- Employ coaching techniques to build emotional resilience in clients.
- Conduct evidence-based interventions to establish routines and address key life issues.
- Manage all aspects of housing management and related support.
- Lead communication with external agencies and address safeguarding concerns promptly.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in supported housing or outreach services.
- Ability to use asset-based approaches to support client transitions.
- Experience in coaching and strengths-based techniques.
- Familiarity with evidence-based interventions for complex needs.
- Knowledge of housing management practices.
- Experience liaising with external agencies and handling safeguarding.
An Enhanced Adult and Child DBS registered on the update service is required for this role as the role is to start immediately, following interview process.
