As an Electrical Trainer Coach, you will work closely with apprentices, employers, and curriculum teams to ensure learners successfully progress through their Electrical qualifications and apprenticeship standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a caseload of Electrical apprentices and learners.
- Conducting workplace reviews and progress meetings.
- Supporting learners with the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required to achieve their qualification.
- Monitoring learner progress against apprenticeship standards and qualification requirements.
- Providing coaching, guidance, and developmental feedback.
- Liaising with employers to ensure apprentices are receiving appropriate workplace support and experience.
- Maintaining accurate learner records and compliance documentation.
- Preparing learners for End Point Assessment (EPA) where applicable.
- Supporting achievement, retention, and progression targets.
Requirements
- A Level 3 qualification in Electrical Installation or a related Electrical discipline.
- Recent industry experience within the Electrical sector.
- Previous experience assessing, coaching, mentoring, or training apprentices is highly desirable.
- Assessor qualification desirable but not essential.
- Teaching or training qualification desirable.
- Strong knowledge of current industry standards and regulations.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- A passion for developing future Electrical professionals.
