Contract Type: Temporary, to start ASAP - 4 weeks with the potential for extension

The Role

As a Female Housing Support Worker, you will play a crucial role in assisting women experiencing homelessness. You will provide practical and emotional support, advocate for women, and help clients access support services. This is an opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of vulnerable individuals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct assessments to identify client needs and develop tailored support plans.
  • Liaise with partner agencies to facilitate access to support services.
  • Support clients in navigating housing benefits and financial assistance.
  • Maintain accurate records of client interactions and progress.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to service development.

The Candidate

  • Experience working with vulnerable people, particularly in housing or social care.

  • A driver with access to a car for work and the ability to work across a shift pattern including some weekends.
