The predicted salary is between 36000 - 60000 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join an established team on a long-term basis (6 months initially). This role offers a strong work-life balance, hybrid working, and exposure to a varied public-sector workload.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering a full range of quantity surveying services across projects, working both independently and collaboratively within the wider team.

Key Responsibilities & Experience Required
  • Previous experience working within a Local Authority or public-sector environment
  • Ideally Chartered (or working towards) with several years' post-qualification experience
  • Comfortable working autonomously as well as part of a multi-disciplinary team
  • Strong experience in:
  • Bills of Quantities (BQ) production
  • Cost planning and cost control
  • Contract administration, including payment certification, valuations, cost reporting, and final accounts
  • Proven knowledge of SBCC Forms of Contract, including:
  • Minor Works
  • With Quantities
  • Design and Build
  • Measured Term Contracts
Working Arrangements
  • 35-hour working week
  • 3 days in the office / 2 days working from home
