Morgan Hunt are delighted to support a Public Sector Organisation across the Central Belt as they look to welcome a Procurement Specialist on a full time and permanent basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead end-to-end procurement projects in compliance with public sector regulations.
  • Manage tendering, supplier evaluation, contract award and contract management activities.
  • Provide procurement advice and support to stakeholders.
  • Build effective stakeholder relationships to deliver value for money and continuous improvement.
  • Promote procurement best practice, governance and sustainable outcomes.

Skills & Experience

  • Experience delivering medium to high-value procurement projects in a regulated environment.
  • Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation, governance and compliance.
  • Skilled in tender management, supplier evaluation and contract management.
  • Experience using e-procurement systems.

Excellent stakeholder engagement, communication, project management and organisational skills.

Proven ability to influence, manage competing priorities and deliver procurement improvements.
