Health & Social Care Lecturer on a temporary basis.
This is an exciting opportunity to deliver high-quality Health & Social Care education, supporting students to develop the knowledge, practical skills and understanding required for further study and employment within the health and social care sector.

Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Health & Social Care teaching to Further Education students.
- Plan and deliver engaging theoretical and practical lessons.
- Deliver programmes across relevant Health & Social Care subjects and qualifications.
- Support students in developing their academic knowledge and practical skills.
- Assess student work and provide constructive feedback to support learner progress.
- Monitor learner achievement and maintain accurate student records.
- Prepare teaching materials, schemes of work and assessments in line with curriculum requirements.
- Support students with their academic, personal and professional development.
- Ensure safeguarding, equality, health and safety and other college policies are followed.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff to provide an effective learning experience.
About You
We're looking for someone who has
- Relevant experience teaching Health & Social Care within Further Education or a similar educational setting.
- Strong subject knowledge across Health & Social Care.
- Experience delivering engaging lessons to FE students.
- Excellent communication, classroom management and organisational skills.
- The ability to assess learner work and provide effective feedback.
- A genuine passion for supporting students to achieve their academic and career goals.
- A relevant teaching qualification and/or industry experience would be desirable.
