Salary Range: £28,000 - £36,000 per annum
About the Role
We are currently seeking a Functional Skills Maths Tutor to join our team in Peterborough. This role offers an opportunity to engage with learners and help them achieve their educational goals in a supportive environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Functional Skills Maths.
- Assess and monitor student progress, providing timely feedback and support.
- Develop and implement curriculum materials tailored to student needs.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance the overall educational experience.
- Participate in professional development activities to improve teaching practices.
Experience and Qualifications
- Relevant teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, Cert Ed).
- Level 3 Maths qualification or equivalent.
- Proven experience in teaching Maths, particularly at the Functional Skills level.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate students.
