Responsibilities
- Delivered compliant end‑to‑end procurement processes across multiple public sector categories, ensuring adherence to the Procurement Act 2023 and PSR Regulations 2023.
- Managed the reintegration of contracts into the organisation's procurement framework.
- Supported preparation activities, contributing to strategic transformation and governance alignment.
- Led and managed procurements and contracts valued up to £500k, achieving value for money, cost savings and process improvements.
- Developed category expertise and supported the implementation of category strategies aligned with organisational priorities, risk management and service delivery goals.
- Collaborated with internal stakeholders, suppliers and cross‑functional teams to deliver strategic and tactical procurement projects.
- Provided procurement guidance, governance support and stakeholder training while maintaining strong analytical, IT and presentation skills.
Personal Specifications
- Public Sector experience required (Healthcare/Social Care experience preferred).
- CIPS Qualified ideally.
- Experience at operating at this level.
