Job Description

To provide support and cover to the Finance Payroll Manager.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Process and reconcile petty cash and credit card transactions.
  2. Provide cover to all teams within Finance as required.
  3. Support and cover the Finance Payroll Manager, including:
  • Processing payrolls (Newlon Payroll & Outward Payroll).
  • Managing payroll processes from start to finish in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
  • Ensuring payroll timetable adherence.
  • Processing ad-hoc/emergency payroll payments.
  • Maintain confidentiality of payroll information, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
  • Assist in processing pension data and maintaining pension records for the Group.
  • Process petty cash and credit card returns, ensuring completeness, compliance, and timely submission.
  • Reconcile petty cash and credit card control accounts monthly, investigating discrepancies.
  • Schedule and complete yearly petty cash compliance visits.
  • Support finance teams with tasks such as processing supplier invoices, assisting sales ledger, credit control, rents team, and management accounts.
  • Assist in year-end audit preparations, including reconciliations and information gathering.
  • Participate actively in team activities, meetings, and uphold company policies on health and safety, diversity, sustainability, and data protection.
