Job Description
To provide support and cover to the Finance Payroll Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process and reconcile petty cash and credit card transactions.
- Provide cover to all teams within Finance as required.
- Support and cover the Finance Payroll Manager, including:
- Processing payrolls (Newlon Payroll & Outward Payroll).
- Managing payroll processes from start to finish in the absence of the Payroll Manager.
- Ensuring payroll timetable adherence.
- Processing ad-hoc/emergency payroll payments.
Maintain confidentiality of payroll information, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
Assist in processing pension data and maintaining pension records for the Group.
Process petty cash and credit card returns, ensuring completeness, compliance, and timely submission.
Reconcile petty cash and credit card control accounts monthly, investigating discrepancies.
Schedule and complete yearly petty cash compliance visits.
Support finance teams with tasks such as processing supplier invoices, assisting sales ledger, credit control, rents team, and management accounts.
Assist in year-end audit preparations, including reconciliations and information gathering.
Participate actively in team activities, meetings, and uphold company policies on health and safety, diversity, sustainability, and data protection.
