Lecturer in Business to join a forward-thinking College in Northamptonshire.
This role offers the chance to make a real impact on learners' academic and professional journeys while working within a supportive and ambitious team.
We are particularly interested in hearing from candidates with experience of teaching within Higher Education, although this is not essential.
The Role
As a Lecturer in Business, you will deliver high-quality teaching across a range of Business programmes, including Further Education, Higher Education, and T Levels.
You will play a key role in inspiring students, supporting their academic and personal development, and contributing to the continued growth and success of the Business curriculum.
Key responsibilities include
- Delivering engaging and high-quality teaching across Business programmes.
- Teaching learners within Further Education, Higher Education, and T Level provision.
- Supporting students to achieve their academic and career goals.
- Acting as a positive role model and mentor to learners.
- Contributing to the development and enhancement of the Business curriculum.
- Supporting student progress, achievement, and retention.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to deliver an outstanding learner experience.
About You
We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable individual who can engage, motivate, and inspire learners.
Essential Requirements
- Degree, HNC, or equivalent vocational experience in a relevant discipline such as:
- Business
- Business Management
- Business Analytics
- Business Marketing
- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C/4 or above (or equivalent).
- Hold, or be willing to work towards, an Award in Teaching and Learning or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to inspire and motivate learners from a range of backgrounds.
Desirable
- Previous teaching or lecturing experience.
- Experience delivering Higher Education programmes.
- Industry experience within Business Management or a related business discipline.
- Experience developing curriculum content and learning resources.
