Morgan Hunt are currently working with a college based in the Northeast of England who are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic English and Maths Digital Learning Facilitator to join their team on a fixed-term basis until June 2027.
In this rewarding position, you will support learners in developing their Maths and English skills through digital learning platforms. You will contribute to the delivery of an ambitious and engaging curriculum by creating a positive learning environment within the college's digital learning suites, delivering workshops, and providing personalised support to help students achieve their goals. You will play an important role in ensuring learners feel motivated, supported, and challenged to reach their full potential.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver engaging digital workshop sessions that promote learner progress and support curriculum delivery
- Provide individual and group support, guidance, and constructive feedback to learners
- Monitor and track learner progress using digital systems and reporting tools
- Work collaboratively with teaching staff to develop and deliver inclusive learning plans
- Maintain a safe, organised, and inclusive learning environment
- Troubleshoot basic technical issues within digital learning spaces
- Provide lesson cover within Essential Skills when required
- Complete administrative duties including registers, reporting, and progress tracking
- Collaborate with colleagues to continuously improve teaching and learning practices
- Holds at least a Level 3 qualification in Maths and/or English
- Has experience supporting learners to achieve academic success
- Is confident using digital learning platforms and online systems
- Is organised, proactive, and able to manage competing priorities effectively
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Is committed to ongoing professional development
- A teaching qualification and a relevant degree or vocational qualification would be advantageous.
This is a fixed-term role until 30 June 2027 and may involve working across multiple college campuses. The College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable adults. All appointments are subject to appropriate pre-employment checks.
