Construction Lecturer
Location: Milton Keynes
Salary: £35-45 per hour or £43k per annum
Contract: Temporary or Permanent
Are you an experienced Construction professional looking to take the next step in your career within Further Education? We are currently seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Construction Lecturer to join a well-established FE College in Milton Keynes.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong industry experience who is looking to share their knowledge with the next generation of construction professionals, with teaching experience welcomed but industry expertise equally valued.
About the Role:
- Deliver engaging practical and theory-based Construction sessions across relevant levels
- Support learners to develop the technical and practical skills required for the construction industry
- Plan, prepare and deliver high-quality lessons in line with curriculum requirements
- Assess learner progress and provide effective feedback and support
- Maintain a safe, positive and professional learning environment
What we are looking for:
- Relevant Level 3 or higher Construction qualification
- Strong industry experience within Construction and relevant trade knowledge
- Teaching or training experience within FE, apprenticeships or a similar environment is desirable
- A recognised teaching qualification is desirable, although industry experience will be considered
- Strong communication, organisation and classroom management skills
