We are looking to recruit an experienced ASB Professional to join an established team for a local housing organisation.

Reporting to their Community Safety Manager, Community Safety Officers play a key part in helping us create safer neighbourhoods.

This is done by tackling anti-social behaviour, supporting residents, and working closely with partners to resolve community safety concerns.

This position is responsible for tenants in parts of the South Manchester area, and successful candidates will be expected to work across this locality on a regular basis.

This role supports more stable, safer neighbourhoods and helps residents feel protected, listened to and supported.

Your work will help prevent issues from escalating and ensure concerns are addressed fairly, consistently and effectively.

We are looking for someone with

  • Experience working in community safety, housing management, ASB, enforcement or a similar frontline role.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to manage challenging conversations calmly and professionally.
  • Confidence working independently, managing a varied caseload and making sound decisions.
  • Good understanding of safeguarding, risk management and health & safety when working in the community.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, including accurate record-keeping and reporting.
  • A flexible approach, including willingness to work occasional evenings where required.
  • Full UK driving licence (or ability to travel independently).
