The Role
As a Travel & Tourism Lecturer, you will
- Plan and deliver engaging Travel & Tourism lessons.
- Teach students across relevant Travel & Tourism qualifications and programmes.
- Assess learner work and provide constructive feedback.
- Monitor learner progress and support students to achieve their full potential.
- Develop engaging learning materials and contribute to curriculum development.
- Create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.
About You
The successful candidate will have
- Experience teaching
Travel & Tourism within an FE college or similar education setting.
- A relevant qualification or degree in
Travel, Tourism, Hospitality or a related subject .
- A recognised teaching qualification such as
PGCE, Cert Ed, DET, QTLS or QTS is desirable.
- Strong knowledge of the Travel & Tourism sector.
- Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
- A genuine passion for supporting learners and helping them achieve their goals.
Industry experience within travel, tourism, aviation, hospitality, airlines or tour operations would also be welcomed.
