About the Role:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Membership Officer. This role is integral to providing high quality administrative and financial support to subscription-based projects. You will manage all aspects of membership registration and invoicing, maintain accurate records, and support the day-to-day functions. This is a hybrid role, 2 days in the office and 3 days from home. This role requires a DBS check.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain the membership and finance database, including membership renewal records and current service status
- Liaise with project teams to obtain Purchase Order (PO) numbers from member services
- Collaborate with the finance department to raise invoices and manage relevant paperwork
- Respond to membership related queries from network members and colleagues
- Host monthly cluster meetings to discuss membership data and foster collaboration
- Provide support to other projects, including attending meetings, taking minutes
- Undertake additional duties as required
Person Specification:
- Relevant experience in an administrative role
- Experience setting up and running administrative systems.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent telephone skills.
- Attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong writing and editing skills.
- Flexibility and ability to act on own initiative
- Ability to work efficiently to tight deadlines and prioritize workload
- Team player with the ability to work as part of a small team
Desirable Criteria:
- Experience in membership services.
- Experience organising meetings and taking minutes.
