Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting experienced Electrician Engineers to join a leading social housing repairs and maintenance team in the London Area. This is an excellent opportunity for qualified electricians looking for a long‑term role delivering high‑quality electrical repairs, maintenance, testing, and compliance works within the social housing sector. Working across occupied and void properties, you will play a key role in ensuring residents receive a safe, reliable, and efficient service while maintaining the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out electrical repairs, maintenance, installations, testing, and inspections within social housing properties.
- Deliver works in line with current Building Regulations, NICEIC requirements, and Health & Safety legislation.
- Complete electrical testing, fault finding, inspections, surveys, and Portable Appliance Testing (PAT).
- Diagnose and rectify electrical faults, aiming for first‑time fixes wherever possible.
- Complete digital work orders, reports, and certification accurately and within required timescales.
- Work safely in occupied and void properties.
- Support larger projects and work collaboratively with colleagues and other trades.
- Mentor junior technicians and support their development where required.
- Participate in an out‑of‑hours emergency call‑out rota.
- Maintain vehicle stock, tools, equipment, and materials effectively.

- Electrical Installation NVQ Level 3 Electrical Installation + AM2
- City & Guilds 2360 Parts 1 & 2
- City & Guilds 2330 Levels 2 & 3 (from September 2011)
- City & Guilds 2365 Levels 2 & 3 + AM2
- City & Guilds 2357 + AM2 Level 3 Electrotechnical Experienced Worker Qualification (2346) + AM2E

Experience Required
- Minimum 5 years' experience in electrical installation, repairs, and maintenance.
- Previous experience working within social housing, property maintenance, facilities management, or a similar environment.
- Experience of delivering excellent customer service.
- Strong fault‑finding, inspection, and testing experience.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team within London.
