I'm currently recruiting for an experienced Leasehold Officer to join a large organisation delivering high-quality housing services across North London. This opportunity sits within a forward-thinking environment operating across the Public Sector and Government, offering the chance to make a meaningful impact on leaseholder services and community outcomes.
As a Leasehold Officer, you will be responsible for the day-to-day management of leasehold services, ensuring full compliance with Section 20 consultation requirements, service charge legislation, and best-practice leasehold management standards. Working across North London, you will manage correspondence, investigate complaints, interpret lease terms, oversee annual service charge billing and recovery, and support major works consultation processes within a Public Sector and Government context.
In this role, the Leasehold Officer will oversee the effective day-to-day management of leasehold services, ensuring compliance with statutory consultation requirements, accurate service charge administration, and professional resolution of leaseholder enquiries and complaints. Operating throughout North London, the position plays a key role in maintaining strong customer relationships while supporting service delivery within both the Public Sector and Government.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing leaseholder correspondence, complaints, inspections, and enforcement activity with a strong customer focus.
- Delivering compliant Section 20 consultations, major works communications, and qualifying long-term agreement processes.
- Preparing, issuing, and reconciling annual service charges, ground rent, and sinking fund arrangements.
- Supporting legal and statutory processes including arrears recovery, tribunal preparation, enfranchisement matters, and property sale enquiries.
