We are looking for an experienced Housing Officer to join our Housing Landlord Services team. The successful candidate will work on-site four days a week and one day from home, ensuring that we maintain sustainable tenancies in vibrant communities.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver integrated housing services to tenants and leaseholders while collaborating with various teams and stakeholders.
- Provide a customer-focused housing management service across a designated area, ensuring compliance with legal and contractual obligations.
- Act as a visible presence in estates, addressing housing management matters and ensuring neighborhood safety.
- Champion resident and community engagement, including developing estate improvement plans in collaboration with residents.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in general needs housing management.
- Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented approach.
- Ability to work collaboratively with internal and external partners.
Education Requirements
- Relevant qualifications in housing, social work, or a related field are preferred.
Experience Requirements
- Experience in delivering housing services within a local government or similar setting.
- Proven track record of managing relationships with tenants, residents, and stakeholders.
