Are you a Heating Engineer looking for work in Northamptonshire? Morgan Hunt's Public Sector and Government client based in Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a Heating Engineer to provide operational housing maintenance services and enable the continuing improvement of the service to the Council's housing stock and corporate properties. Under the direction of a designated Repairs Officer, you will undertake a variety of gas work as required in accordance with works orders. This assignment has been deemed inside of IR35 and will run for 3 months initially.

  • Work within social housing, local authority housing, or a similar residential maintenance environment is highly desirable.
  • Diagnose, repair, maintain, and install domestic gas and central heating systems.

  • Ensure all work is completed safely, efficiently, and in compliance with current regulations and industry standards.

  • Demonstrable experience in domestic gas and heating maintenance.
  • Proven ability to deliver first‑time fix reactive maintenance repairs.
  • CCN1 qualified.

  • CKR1 qualified.
  • CPA1 qualified.
  • MET1 qualified.
  • HTR1 qualified.
  • Range Cooker qualified.
  • Unvented Hot Water qualified.
