We’re looking for an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager with strong network expertise to join a key client on an initial 6‑month contract. This role is ideal for someone who can confidently lead infrastructure operations while taking ownership of network performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and manage the organisation’s IT infrastructure estate
- Lead on network design, implementation, and optimisation
- Ensure high availability, performance, and security across systems
- Manage and support infrastructure projects and upgrades
- Collaborate with internal teams and third‑party vendors
Key Experience Required
- Proven experience as an IT Infrastructure Manager or similar role
- Strong networking expertise (routing, switching, firewalls, VPNs)
- Experience with enterprise infrastructure environments
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms, virtualisation, and security best practices
- Ability to lead projects and drive technical delivery
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills

- Duration: 6 months
- Day Rate: £400‑£500 (Outside IR35)
- Working Pattern: 5 days per week
- Location: Inverness (2‑3 days on‑site required)
