About the Role / Job Summary: Kingston University is seeking a dedicated HR Management Information & Systems Partner to provide a leading HR management information service. This role focuses on improving the quality and accessibility of workforce data, supporting HR in optimising systems, and delivering high-quality data products for strategic decision-making. The successful candidate will collaborate with HR teams and stakeholders to enhance data capabilities, aligning with the Town House Strategy and People Plan.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support HR teams with access and interpretation of complex data sets.
- Plan and deliver the annual Staff data return, ensuring compliance with changing requirements.
- Continuously improve the People Dashboard report for leadership teams.
- Assist in delivering Public Sector Equality Duty and Pay Gap reports.
- Respond to external requests for HR data.
- Deliver tailored workforce data products to facilitate decision-making.
- Lead as the HR data protection champion and ensure data quality and integrity.
- Develop tools and processes for continuous improvement in HR data management.
Work Details:
- Work Schedule: Minimum 3 days per week in the office, based in Kingston-upon-Thames.
Salary & Benefits:
- Salary Range: £50,160 - £59,306 per annum. Typically, new hires start at the bottom of the scale, but there is an opportunity to start higher based on experience.
- Pension Scheme: Local Government Pension Scheme.
- Annual Leave: 35 days plus bank holidays.
Qualifications:
- Extensive experience in data reporting, presentation, and analysis.
- Advanced skills in Excel, Power BI, and Tableau.
- SQL report writing experience.
- Knowledge of Data Protection legislation.
- Experience in utilising and developing HR systems.
Experience Requirements:
- Experience working in a Higher Education environment is desirable.
- Strong customer service ethic with relationship-building capabilities.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Analytical thinking skills for interpreting complex data.
- Proven ability to manage competing priorities effectively.
