Morgan Hunt is currently recruiting on behalf of YMCA for a dedicated and empathetic Housing Support Officer to join their team in Chiswick. This is a meaningful opportunity to support young and vulnerable individuals by providing housing advice, tenancy support, and helping residents progress toward independent living.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a caseload of residents, offering tailored support to address housing and wellbeing needs.
- Monitor rent accounts and address arrears in a timely and proactive manner.
- Work collaboratively with internal teams and external agencies to deliver a holistic support service.
- Support residents in accessing education, training, and employment opportunities.
- Promote community safety by addressing anti-social behaviour in line with tenancy/licence agreements.
- Assist residents with move-on planning and securing suitable long-term accommodation.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS (Children or Children & Adults), dated within the last 12 months or registered on the Update Service
- Proof of Right to Work in the UK (e.g., valid passport)
- Availability for immediate start
- Additional compliance documentation as required
