Join us as a Housing Support Officer, where you'll be the first point of contact for residents and play a crucial role in providing a safe, supportive, and welcoming environment for people at risk of homelessness. From day-to-day support and reception duties to first aid and fire safety responsibilities, the work you do will make a meaningful difference.
What You'll Do
- Manage a caseload of residents and create tailored support plans
- Monitor rent accounts and take early action to prevent arrears
- Promote tenancy compliance and respond to anti-social behaviour
- Support residents to access training, employment, and community opportunities
- Maintain accurate records and work collaboratively with internal teams and external partners
What We're Looking For
- Experience supporting vulnerable people (housing, advice, or social care preferred)
- Excellent communication and organisational skills
- Empathy, resilience, and confidence in challenging situations
