An opportunity for a Housing Officer to join a busy Housing Management team within the Public Sector and Government, supporting residents and neighbourhoods across North West Leicestershire. This role focuses on managing a defined neighbourhood, delivering high-quality tenancy management services, maximising rental income, and creating safe, sustainable, and inclusive communities. As a Housing Officer, you will be the main point of contact for tenants, handling day-to-day housing matters and ensuring compliance with tenancy conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of tenancy management, including rent arrears, tenancy reviews, and home visits.
  • Investigate and resolve tenancy breaches, including nuisance and anti-social behaviour.
  • Collect evidence, prepare witness statements, and attend court where required.
  • Carry out estate inspections and monitor service standards.
  • Complete tenancy reviews for introductory tenancies and make recommendations.
  • Deliver a customer-focused service aligned with Public Sector and Government values and standards.
