About the Role

We are seeking a knowledgeable and enthusiastic Health and Social Care Lecturer to join a Further Education college in London. You will deliver engaging and high-quality teaching across Health and Social Care courses, supporting students to develop the knowledge, skills, and behaviours required for careers in the sector. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging lessons across Health and Social Care courses (e.g., Level 1-3, T Levels)
  • Plan, prepare, and assess student work in line with curriculum requirements
  • Monitor and track student progress, providing timely feedback and support
  • Support students with academic and pastoral needs to promote achievement and retention
  • Contribute to curriculum development and course improvement
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, employers, and placement providers
  • Ensure teaching meets safeguarding, equality, and quality standards

About You

  • Experience teaching Health and Social Care in an FE College or similar setting
  • Strong subject knowledge within the Health and Social Care sector
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • Passionate about supporting learners to achieve their full potential

Desirable

  • Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent)
  • Industry experience in health or social care settings
  • Experience delivering T Levels or vocational qualifications
