I am currently recruiting a Technical Officer to support the delivery of high-quality asset management and investment programmes across housing stock. This role will support the delivery of major works, cyclical maintenance, common repairs and component replacement programmes while helping to protect and enhance our property assets.
Key responsibilities
- Supporting delivery of planned, cyclical and ad hoc investment works programmes
- Undertaking property inspections and maintaining asset management records and reporting systems
- Assisting with procurement, tender processes and contract administration
- Monitoring works on site and supporting contractor performance management
- Ensuring compliance with quality, cost, programme and health and safety requirements
- Liaising with residents, owners, contractors and stakeholders to provide excellent customer service
- Supporting governance, risk, compliance and performance reporting
- Reviewing invoices and valuations to ensure accuracy and value for money
About you
- Demonstrable experience delivering projects within a property, housing or technical environment
- Strong technical knowledge with awareness of risk, compliance and contract management
- Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Relevant professional experience is essential
- Professional or vocational qualification and understanding of property factoring services are desirable
