Permanent position with a salary of £60,000. Located in Glasgow city centre with hybrid working (3 days in the office).

Morgan Hunt are delighted to be supporting a Public Sector Organisation as they look to welcome a Procurement Business Partner on a full time and permanent basis.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leading strategic sourcing and tendering activity from end to end
  • Developing and managing commercial and supplier contracts
  • Driving compliance with procurement policies and procedures
  • Establishing meaningful KPIs and supplier performance measures
  • Managing contract variations, reviews and commercial improvements
  • Building strong relationships with internal stakeholders, suppliers and legal partners
  • Supporting supplier rationalisation and supply-chain development
  • Improving procurement processes, systems and commercial practices
  • Providing leadership, mentoring and development where required

Essential Experience:

  • Strong experience managing the full tendering process
  • Proven commercial contract management experience, ideally within the public sector or regulated environment
  • Practical knowledge of procurement processes and regulations
  • Degree-level qualification or equivalent experience
  • CIPS qualification, or willingness to work towards Chartered status
  • Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Excellent analytical, communication and IT skills
  • Experience in legal contract management would be advantageous
