- Role
- Mechanical design of HVAC, heating, ventilation, cooling and public health systems.
- Producing calculations, specifications and technical reports.
- Coordinating designs across multidisciplinary project teams.
- Attending client and design meetings.
- Supporting projects through all design stages.
- Contributing to technically challenging and sustainable engineering solutions.
- Supporting and mentoring junior engineers where appropriate.
Qualifications / Experience
- Degree qualified in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services Engineering.
- Previous experience within a Building Services Consultancy.
- Good understanding of UK Building Regulations and industry standards.
- Experience with relevant design software such as Hevacomp, IES VE, Revit or Auto CAD.
- Strong communication and problem‑solving skills.
- A collaborative approach and ambition to continue developing professionally.
