We are seeking a Senior AI Governance Manager to provide leadership and oversight for AI governance, data ethics, and regulatory compliance within a complex, regulated environment. This role will play a key part in ensuring AI technologies are developed and used responsibly, safely, and in line with organisational and regulatory expectations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop AI governance frameworks, policies, and controls
- Provide oversight of AI risk, data ethics, and regulatory compliance across AI-enabled services and platforms
- Translate complex AI and technical concepts into clear, practical governance policies and guidance
- Advise senior stakeholders on AI-related risks, controls, and decision-making
- Work closely with technical, legal, risk, and policy teams to embed responsible AI practices
- Support assurance, reporting, and governance forums related to AI adoption
Essential Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in AI governance, data ethics, or regulatory compliance
- Strong understanding of AI technologies, associated risks, and emerging governance challenges
- Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills
- Demonstrated ability to turn complex technical concepts into clear, actionable governance policies
- Experience operating at a senior management level in large or regulated organisations
