As an Accountant within Strategic Finance, you will partner directly with service leaders to influence revenue and capital budgets, long-term planning and financial performance across this Scottish Council. You will work alongside a Principal Accountant, supporting medium and long-term financial planning, capital programmes and service transformation.

The Role
- Support revenue and capital budget preparation and monitoring
- Provide financial analysis and advice to Heads of Service and managers
- Contribute to financial performance reporting and service reviews
- Support year-end accounts, treasury management and financial governance
You will also contribute to corporate finance activities including tax compliance, VAT, capital financing and treasury support.
