We are currently seeking a dedicated English Lecturer to join our team, teaching GCSE English (AQA) across multiple sites in Derby. The position is available for immediate start and offers competitive pay.
Location: Across all Derby (DE1)
Hours: 22.5 hours per week
Start Date: Immediate
Travel: Car driver required due to travel across sites
Weekly Timetable:
- Monday: 4.5 hours
- Tuesday: 4.5 hours
- Wednesday: 4.5 hours
- Thursday: 4.5 hours
- Friday: 4.5 hours
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Delivering and assessing GCSE English resit courses (AQA)
- Planning, marking, and assessing coursework
- Attending team meetings and contributing to the department's success
Qualifications Required:
- Degree in English (preferred)
- PGCE or equivalent teaching qualification
- Experience delivering GCSE English resit courses (AQA) is advantageous
