The Role
- Deliver engaging and effective Health & Social Care lessons to FE students, supporting them to achieve their qualifications and progress into higher education or employment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver Health & Social Care programmes across Levels 1-5.
- Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons.
- Assess student work and provide timely, constructive feedback.
- Monitor learner progress and maintain accurate records.
- Support students' academic achievement and personal development.
- Contribute to curriculum delivery and quality assurance processes.
Requirements
- Degree or relevant qualification in Health & Social Care, Nursing, Social Work, Public Health, or a related field.
- Previous teaching, training, or industry experience within Health & Social Care.
- Teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) desirable.
- Strong communication, organisational, and classroom management skills.
- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or willingness to obtain one.
