Equine Lecturer

This is a unique opportunity to join a forward-thinking institution and inspire the next generation of professionals in the equine sector.
Role Overview:
The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering both theory and practical sessions across Level 2 and Level 3 Equine programmes. This role combines classroom teaching with hands-on riding instruction and provides support for learners\β academic and personal development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality teaching in equine studies and riding instruction.
- Support and assess students throughout their academic journey.
- Serve as a personal tutor, providing pastoral and academic guidance.
- Contribute to curriculum development and continuous quality improvement.
- Engage in student recruitment and industry liaison.
Person Specification:
- A relevant degree or equivalent professional qualification (BHS Stage 3 or 4 Instructor preferred).
- A recognised teaching qualification or willingness to work towards one.
- Recent experience in the equine industry, particularly in instruction and coaching.
- A student-centred approach with excellent interpersonal skills.
- Commitment to safeguarding, equality, and professional development.
