Key Responsibilities
- Teach GCSE English/Functional Skills English to learners from Entry Level to Level 2 within the college.
- Develop lesson plans to effectively cover the full lesson duration.
- Deliver lessons using various teaching styles depending on the content.
- Create an engaging classroom atmosphere to motivate students.
- Instruct students on the structure and content of the English language.
- Teach spelling, word meanings, grammar, and sentence construction.
- Guide students on correct pronunciation.

Skills & Experience
- Right to Work & Enhanced Adult/Child DBS within the last 3 months or on the update service.
- A UK-recognized teaching qualification such as PGCE, DTLLS, Cert Ed, or equivalent.
- Bachelor's degree in English or related field.
- Up-to-date knowledge of teaching techniques and English topics.
- Excellent spoken and written English skills.
- Experience in delivering English instruction.
