Are you an experienced Engineering professional looking to move into education, or an established Engineering Technician seeking your next opportunity within Further Education? We are currently working with a leading college in London that is looking to appoint a skilled and motivated Engineering Technician to support their growing Engineering department from September. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well‑equipped department delivering high‑quality practical learning across a range of Engineering programmes. You will play a key role in supporting both staff and students within workshops and practical teaching environments.

The Role:

  • Prepare and maintain engineering workshops, tools, equipment, and materials
  • Support lecturers during practical sessions and demonstrations
  • Ensure workshops comply with Health & Safety regulations
  • Assist students with practical activities and technical support
  • Maintain stock levels and organise equipment/resources

Ideal Requirements:

  • Relevant Engineering qualification
  • Industry experience within Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, or General Engineering
  • Strong understanding of workshop Health & Safety procedures
  • Previous experience within an educational environment is beneficial but not essential
