Employer Engagement Officer - West Yorkshire

Job Title: Employer Engagement Officer

Morgan Hunt is working with a market-leading Welfare to Work provider to recruit an Employer Engagement Officer in West Yorkshire. This role involves sourcing work placement opportunities for SEN learners currently on a Supported Internship programme. It is a part-time (2.5 days per week, with flexible working options) and permanent position. The salary ranges from £12,260 to £15,046. The role will be based across Wakefield and York.

Responsibilities:

1. Engaging with local employers to source suitable work opportunities for SEN learners
2. Establishing learners\’ needs to identify preferred roles for work experience
3. Understanding learners\’ difficulties in gaining employment and addressing these
4. Collaborating with Tutors and Employer Engagement Officers to source suitable placements
5. Building long-lasting relationships with external stakeholders

Requirements:

1. Experience engaging employers with a proven track record of sourcing vacancies
2. Knowledge or experience working with SEN learners and identifying suitable work placements
3. Experience working on employability programmes
4. Experience in a target-driven environment
5. Ability to travel across various sites
