An award-winning and forward-thinking building services consultancy is looking for an Electrical / Senior Design Engineer to join its growing Edinburgh team. The business is passionate about creating more energy-efficient, sustainable and cost-effective buildings, with a strong track record of delivering innovative, low-carbon mechanical and electrical solutions across some of the UK's most complex and high-profile projects across sectors such as Commercial, Healthcare, Defence, Education and more. With specialists across electrical, mechanical, public health and other building services disciplines, there are plenty of opportunities to learn from experienced colleagues and develop your expertise. The Role
- Deliver electrical building services designs from concept through to completion.
- Design power, lighting, small power, emergency lighting and associated systems.
- Produce calculations, specifications, drawings and technical reports.
- Work closely with multidisciplinary teams and project stakeholders.
- Contribute to innovative, sustainable and low-carbon design solutions.
- Attend design and client meetings and support project delivery.
Experience & Qualifications
- Degree/HNC/HND in Electrical Engineering or Building Services.
- Previous experience in electrical building services design.
- Good knowledge of UK standards and regulations.
- Experience with AutoCAD and/or Revit.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
