Experienced Electrical Assessor wanted for an exciting Further Education College in North London! We are currently working with a leading FE College who are actively seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Assessor to join the team on a temporary basis. If you have a strong Electrical Installation background, hold an Assessor qualification, and have previous FE or apprenticeship assessing experience, this could be the perfect next opportunity.

The Role

  • Supporting and assessing learners and apprentices across Electrical Installation programmes, ensuring high standards of progress, achievement, and industry readiness.
  • Carrying out workplace and on-site assessments.
  • Supporting learner portfolios and evidence gathering.
  • Conducting reviews and progress tracking.
  • Working closely with employers and curriculum teams.
  • Ensuring learners meet awarding body standards.

Requirements

  • Level 3 Electrical Installation qualification (or higher).
  • Assessor qualification (TAQA, A1, CAVA or equivalent).
  • Previous assessing experience within FE or Apprenticeships.
  • Strong industry experience within Electrical Installation.
  • Excellent communication and learner support skills.
  • Enhanced DBS preferred.
