We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Lecturer to join a North London college on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to support and inspire learners studying Early Years programmes.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Early Years courses
- Plan engaging lessons in line with the curriculum and awarding body requirements
- Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on learner work
- Support learners' academic and professional development
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment
- Contribute to course development and quality assurance processes
Requirements
- Relevant qualification in Early Years / Childcare (minimum Level 3; Degree preferred)
- Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
- Previous experience teaching Early Years in a FE or similar setting
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Up-to-date knowledge of Early Years frameworks and practice
