We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Early Years Lecturer to join a North London college on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to support and inspire learners studying Early Years programmes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality teaching and learning across Early Years courses
  • Plan engaging lessons in line with the curriculum and awarding body requirements
  • Assess, mark, and provide constructive feedback on learner work
  • Support learners' academic and professional development
  • Maintain accurate records of attendance, progress, and assessment
  • Contribute to course development and quality assurance processes

Requirements

  • Relevant qualification in Early Years / Childcare (minimum Level 3; Degree preferred)
  • Teaching qualification (e.g. PGCE, Cert Ed, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one
  • Previous experience teaching Early Years in a FE or similar setting
  • Strong classroom management and communication skills
  • Up-to-date knowledge of Early Years frameworks and practice
