Looking for an enthusiastic and engaging practitioner to provide mentoring, early intervention, and practical support to young people across Dudley.
Contract & Pay
- Initial 3-month contract
- £14.08 per hour
- Tuesday‑Friday: 11 AM - 7:15 PM
- Saturday: 10 AM - 4 PM
What You’ll Do
- Build positive, trusted relationships with young people aged 13‑25
- Deliver one‑to‑one mentoring and early intervention support
- Help young people access:
- Health & wellbeing coaching
- Drug & alcohol support
- Stop smoking & vaping support (16+)
- Sexual health advice, free condoms & STI screening
- Education, training & career planning
- Encourage participation in onsite groups, activities and clubs
- Signpost and refer young people to specialist services
- Provide support through our welcoming drop‑in hub
- Maintain accurate records and safeguarding standards
- Support occasional planned outreach and prevention activities in the community

- Background in youth work, mentoring, education, wellbeing or support services
- Excellent communication and engagement skills
- A proactive, approachable and person‑centred attitude
- Understanding of safeguarding and early intervention
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
