SC Cleared Data Scientist - Contract Glasgow (Hybrid - 1 day per week onsite) £650-£750 per day (Inside IR35) Contract until September.
Morgan Hunt are working with a high-profile public sector organisation who require an SC Cleared Data Scientist to support a key programme of work through to September. This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a data-driven transformation programme within a secure environment, working alongside experienced data, engineering and policy teams.
The Role
- Delivering advanced analytics and data science solutions, helping to turn complex datasets into actionable insights.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and deploying predictive models and statistical analysis.
- Working with large, complex datasets to identify trends and insights.
- Collaborating with data engineers and stakeholders to shape data solutions.
- Supporting decision making through clear visualisation and communication of findings.
- Ensuring work aligns with security and governance requirements.
Key Requirements
- Active SC Clearance (essential).
- Proven experience as a Data Scientist in complex or regulated environments.
- Strong skills in Python (or similar) and data science libraries.
- Experience with machine learning, statistical modelling and data analysis.
- Ability to communicate technical findings to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in public sector or government environments is highly desirable.
