About the Role: A leading FE College group is looking for a Curriculum Manager for their Construction Department. This role involves contributing to the operational management and development of teaching, learning, and assessment across all aspects of provision. The successful candidate will implement quality improvement strategies in line with the current OFSTED framework and maintain a culture of continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and develop all aspects of curriculum delivery in Engineering, Construction, and the Built Environment.
  • Implement quality improvement strategies to enhance student experience.
  • Lead performance management of direct reports to achieve high outcomes.
  • Support staff development in vocational areas and learning and teaching.
  • Contribute to effective curriculum planning, design, and development.
  • Monitor and enhance the quality of curriculum delivery.

Qualifications:

  • A specialism in Plumbing, Gas, or Refrigeration is desirable.
  • Hold a teaching qualification or equivalent.

Experience Requirements:

  • Experience in operational leadership and management in a Further Education setting.
  • Track record of operational leadership in a Further Education setting.
  • Experience in recruitment, induction, and guidance of students.
  • Strong budget management skills.
  • Proven experience in leading staff and enhancing curriculum quality.
