About the Role / Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Creative Media Lecturer to deliver on our Level 2 and Level 3 Creative Media programs. This temporary position is for up to 3 months, with the potential for a permanent appointment.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver engaging and effective lessons in Creative Media.
- Support learners through the full creative process, from concept development to final delivery.
- Utilise strong practical skills in podcasting, content creation, video editing, camera operation, and TV studio production.
- Collaborate with colleagues and stakeholders to enhance the learning experience.
- Provide pastoral support to students with diverse needs.
- Maintain excellent organisational and administrative standards.
Qualifications
- Recognised teaching qualification (PGCE or equivalent).
- Strong practical and industry skills in Creative Media.
- Experience in teaching Creative Media within Further Education.
Education Requirements
- Relevant degree in Creative Media or a related field.
- Teaching qualification is essential.
Experience Requirements
- Experience delivering T Level Media, Broadcast, and Production qualifications is preferred.
- Experience supporting students with Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) and Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs).
