Plumbing Lecturer

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a well-established Further Education College for a Plumbing Lecturer to join their Construction department on a long-term temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity to deliver high-quality teaching while supporting learners to develop the practical skills and technical knowledge required for a successful career in the plumbing industry.
The college is seeking a motivated individual who can inspire learners and bring valuable industry experience into the classroom.
About the Role
- Deliver practical and theory-based Plumbing lessons across Levels 1 to 3
- Prepare engaging lesson plans and learning resources
- Assess learner progress and provide timely feedback
- Promote safe working practices within the workshop and classroom
What We're Looking For
- Level 3 qualification in Plumbing
- Recent and relevant industry experience
- Strong communication and organisational skills
- A passion for developing learners and supporting their progression
Desirable
- Previous teaching or training experience
- A recognised teaching qualification
- Experience working within Further Education
- Knowledge of current industry standards
