Pay Rates - Dependent on Direct Recovery Experience
- Less than 12 months: £16-£18 per hour (umbrella)
- 1-3 years: £18-£20 per hour (umbrella)
- 3+ years: Up to £22 per hour (umbrella)
About the Role
We are looking for a compassionate and motivated Recovery Worker to join a multi-disciplinary team, supporting service users throughout their treatment and recovery journey.
Key Responsibilities
- Support service users from initial engagement through to recovery.
- Complete screening, assessments, risk assessments and recovery plans.
- Manage an allocated caseload and monitor service user progress.
- Use motivational interviewing and recovery-focused approaches.
- Coordinate care and make appropriate onward referrals.
- Promote recovery, resilience, independence and social reintegration.
- Provide harm-reduction advice, including overdose prevention and Naloxone support.
- Develop links with recovery, mutual-aid and community groups.
- Work with prescribing clinicians, GPs, health services and partner agencies.
- Maintain accurate records and uphold confidentiality and safeguarding requirements.
