Are you an experienced Computing Lecturer? We are currently recruiting on behalf of London South East Colleges (LSEC) for a temporary Computing Lecturer to join a dedicated and supportive team delivering high-quality teaching to Further Education learners.
The Role
- Deliver engaging and inclusive lessons across FE Computing programmes.
- Teach a range of computing subjects, which may include IT, Digital Technologies, Programming, Cyber Security, Networking, or related areas.
- Plan, prepare, and assess learning in line with awarding body requirements.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to support achievement.
- Create a positive and motivating learning environment that encourages student success.
The Ideal Candidate
- Experience teaching Computing within Further Education or a similar educational setting.
- A relevant Computing qualification (degree or equivalent).
- A recognised teaching qualification (PGCE, Cert Ed, DTLLS, or equivalent) or willingness to work towards one.
- Strong communication and classroom management skills.
- A passion for helping learners develop the skills needed for further study and employment.
